100% Organic Moisturizing Lip Balm

It is the same great formula, but we've added 100% Organic Sweet Almond Oil, 100% Organic Vitamin E, and 100% Organic Castor Oil. Adding these new oils gives your lips another great boost of healing opportunity! This balm is so luxurious and is a happy dance for your lips. Our 100% organic lip balm also includes these original ingredients: beeswax, virgin coconut oil, shea butter, and jojoba oil. Our new and improved lip balm is no longer sticky, grainy, gritty, or mushy. It's absolutely perfect in every way!!

Our 100% organic ingredients and their benefits:

Beeswax helps prevent moisture loss in the skin. It also helps soften and lubricate skin and creates a protective coating on the surface of the skin, helping to keep moisture from escaping. 

Cold-pressed unrefined virgin coconut oil can help decrease trans epidermal water loss (TWL), which is when water passively evaporates from your skin. Too much of this is what leads to dry skin. Coconut oil can help lessen the amount of moisture your skin loses. It also has antimicrobial properties. So, while it can help retain moisture in your lips, it can also help treat and soothe extremely dry or chapped lips. 

Shea butter is a rich tree-nut oil and has been proven to have extensive anti-inflammatory properties. This butter can calm redness and swelling, creating a smooth and soft barrier that seals in moisture. This moisturizing effect can last several hours.

Jojoba oil has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. It is rich in vitamins and minerals. Topical application may help relieve dryness, flaking, itching, and related symptoms. It may also soothe sunburned skin and may be good for acne-prone skin. Jojoba oil is very close in composition to your skin's normal sebum, or the normal oil secreted by your skin.

Sweet almond oil is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. This oil can help hydrate dry, itchy skin. It is an oil that is popularly used for skin and hair care.

Vitamin E Oil is an excellent source for moisturizing your skin. It is a fat-soluble compound that acts as an antioxidant and helps moisturize dry, flaky skin. This oil can also help fight free radicals and inflammation in the skin.

Castor Oil is used to moisturize the skin by preventing water loss. This effect can promote good skin health, relieve dryness, and soothe inflamed skin. Castor oil is a triglyceride that has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.

Our PLAIN lip balm has no scent or flavoring. Flavored and scented lip balm can promote chapped and drying of lips. Subconsciously, you lick your lips in response to the flavor and scent. Saliva, while a quick fix for dry lips, actually dries and chaps them in the long term. We do offer flavored lip balm and use 100% organic flavoring in those flavored lip balms. The organic flavoring contains 100% organic sunflower oil and 100% organic vanilla.

We hand-pour each balm and make it in small batches to ensure quality. Each tube contains 5.5ml - .05 oz. of balm. We use high-quality chap stick container tubes that are made of food-grade plastic, odor-free, BPA-free, and non-toxic.

These lip balms have no sunscreen in them and will not protect your lips from the sun.

Is your lip balm sticky, mushy, or gritty? The consistency is different based on the temperature. Coconut oil has a low melting point, so lip balms will soften in warmer temperatures and harden in cooler temperatures, this is normal. If it seems mushy upon application try keeping it somewhere cooler, if it seems sticky upon application hold it against your skin for a few moments to warm it up and consider keeping it somewhere a little warmer.
